I’m Cecil Benson, born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Fishing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember; some of my greatest memories are out on the water with my family, teaching my kids to cast, trying new bait ideas, and just enjoying that time together.

I started Okie Angler Co. to turn that passion into something more- a family-driven company with a mission to help anglers everywhere enjoy the sport as much as we do. Every bait we make is designed, tested, and fine-tuned with my family right here in Oklahoma, on the same waters where I grew up fishing.

By day, I work as a service writer at a Honda dealership, but Okie Angler Co. is my family’s way of sharing what we love, building a growing brand rooted in family values, and a genuine love for fishing.
