I’m Cecil Benson, born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Fishing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and some of my greatest memories are out on the water with my family, teaching my kids to cast, trying new bait ideas, and just enjoying that time together.

I started Okie Angler Co. to turn that passion into something more: a family driven company with a mission to help anglers everywhere enjoy the sport as much as we do. Every bait we make is designed, tested, and fine tuned with my family right here in Oklahoma, on the same waters where I grew up fishing.

By day, I work as a service writer at a Honda dealership, but Okie Angler Co. is our family’s way of sharing what we love building a growing brand rooted in family values and a genuine love for fishing.
